Our Story
Sterling’s Market was founded in 2021 in honor of Sterling Reckling—an inspiring young entrepreneur, visionary behind St. Hubertus Wild Game Stewards, and someone who believed deeply in building community. Sterling dreamed of creating a space in Houston where local farmers, artisans, and neighbors could come together and support one another.
The first market began after Sterling’s passing, on the corner of Sage and Woodway. A place Sterling envisioned as the perfect setting to bring his idea to life. What started there as a small, heartfelt gathering has grown into a cherished weekly tradition.
Today, Sterling’s Market has found its new home at Westminster, continuing the spirit Sterling sparked—celebrating local makers, fostering meaningful connections, and creating a place where people can slow down, greet their neighbors, and enjoy the simple joys of community.
Each Saturday, we hope this market gives you a sense of belonging, a reason to connect, and a moment to appreciate the hard work of those who grow, bake, create, and share with love.
